Wintry Night: A Poem
67
Wintry Night
In the midst of a wintry night, a love unfurrowed to take flight.
A glance shot beside the fire is all it took to ignite this desire.
The desire, bright and hot, as a flare led to this fervor we share.
For a moment this whole world revolves around this boy and girl.
From your attention my heart does sing so sure of this ardent thing
Splashing into amour like the waves dance upon the golden shore
Like the butterfly in my stomach flaps its wings, oh what elation this brings.
From the ceiling to the floor I say to you “I want more.”
For you my love I so adore.
Entranced by the gentle sway of your breast as I gaze at the rising of your chest.
They seem to beg to be free but not here where everyone can see
To my chamber we decide and I’ll take you to paradise
You trot ahead with glee as I plot out your wildest fantasy
My beds the ocean moving as a notion of our endless motion.
In this moment of sensuous play an eternity I’d like to stay
Of your innocence so sweet etched is the memory of your heat
The love you give makes me high that my breath escapes in a sigh.
The smoothness of your skin has me living in sin
And your hair so soft and fair falls over me without a care
The act, never wrong with a passion so complete and strong.
Absorbed in enthusiasm you give a quick spasm
Oh I’ve found the magic spot and I give it all I’ve got
Your eyes to mine with a stare hold on babe we’re almost there
Pressure builds to astound, ecstasy my love, we have found
We fall back into the bed in my arms upon my chest you lay your head
Silence settles o'er the night, like this we stay until the morning light.

Great stuff, Wesley! This was my favorite line:
The smoothness of your skin has me living in sin
Great alliteration. Thumbs up!
Have you been taking lessons from me or what? This is some good stuff son.
'Entranced by the gentle sway of your breast as I gaze at the rising of your chest.' so er, moving
Great poetry. Hope all is well.
OMG, I think I need to take a shower now! lol This was so titilating and exciting...also the photo above helped the mood!
now that was so intense it left me almost breathless! gooorgeous, is all I can say! more please!! ;)
you are a lovely person...... really you are, what a nice poem, for your wife, has she read it or do i not even go there. I am so proud of your poetry, i could not write anything like that, i really could not
i like the first line of the third verse, and all that verse, probably because it is so typical of a man's re action to a womans body..... she would like that you were deriving much pleasure from her. I am glad she read it, and i hope she keeps on reading your work, i have told you before you are special, and you will keep improving, well done........
oh, wow. There are really men who care about the pleasure of ohters? And did I read that right, its for your wife?
How lovely!!!! Lucky girl...
my favourite line was..."You trot ahead with glee as I plot out your wildest fantasy"
that you would be thinking of her is what casues you so much joy...fantastic!!
:) happy for you!!!
Very well done...again. Innocent (and not so) and passionate - you've captured the way true lovers should feel.
Great One...Wesleycox! It takes the reader into this very intimate moment with astonishing-calm and cool-deliberate detail. Reads very well...and I see your work has gathered many fine Hubbers to comment approvingly. Add me to the list of folks who are impressed with your Poetry. This was some remarkable Poetry!
This was an excellent poem Wesley. Very graphic, but tasteful. : ) I'll be jumping into a cold shower now! ; )
Hi Wesley,
I loved your poem, it was truly beautiful the way you described just what a loving relationship you have with your wife. I could feel your love for her coming through in many ways. Even though you did describe very grafically some of the details, you did manage to do it quite tasefully and that is why it was so special to me and I felt your love for her in it so strongly Wesley. I have been dabbling in a bit of poetry myself, but still have a long way to go. You are very good and I am going to read some more, of which I will like again of this I am sure. Thank you and have a lovely Christmas BB
totally adolescent
What a passionate and beautiful poem! Keep'em coming :).
just came back to be inspired by your work, my poor dad is so sick, every day he gets worse..... He has scarring on the lung, and cannot get his breath, heartbreaking. I go over Thursday of next week to look after him till Sunday, to give my sister a break
